2007 Girls Class A Team Rankings

- Winnebago – They looked very impressive
at Oregon this weekend. If they stay healthy, they will be very
tough to beat.
- Elmwood-Brimfield – They were the top
Class A team at Canton over the weekend and looked strong as
expected. They should easily be second at Woodruff.
- Urbana U-High - No Information this
week
- Aurora Christian – They ran at the
Aurora City meet last week and will be one of the favorites at the
Westmont Invitational this weekend
- PORTA – They won the Rochester Invite
against tough competition.
- Eureka – Behind Olivia Klaus, Eureka
looks for a strong showing this weekend at Woodruff.
- Central A & M – They placed 2nd
at Rochester against some very fine competition. This team gained
some experience last year and look poised to have a great season.
- Downs Tri Valley – No Information from
this week
- Beecher – No Information from this week
- Pleasant Plains – They had a strong
showing at Rochester and looks to see where they stand at Woodruff
this weekend.

Meet of the week: Woodruff Invitational
This week’s meet of the week will be at
Detwieller Park hosted by Woodruff. Many of the top schools in the
state will attend and this will help get an early season look at the
main competition in Class 1A.
