Boys Class A Team Rankings
Week 2
Rankings
- Winnebago Winnebago looked down right
impressive this weekend at the Peoria Woodruff Invitational. With
some of the top teams in Class A running against them, they posted a
fantastic score and ran away with the meet.
- Paxton/Buckley/Loda They ran the PBL
Invitational this weekend in Paxton and finished second behind
Bishop MacNamara. They seemed to run in a good pack of runners and
could really surprise some people.
- Ottawa Marquette They ran at the
Princeton Invitational and finished a surprising second behind
Dixon. This team looks to be the real deal and could be a team that
could run well at state. This is definitely a team to watch this
year.
- Oregon Oregon ran at the Princeton
Invitational and finished third behind Dixon and Ottawa Marquette.
This senior heavy team is running extremely well and looks to be in
great form already.
- Rockford Christian Rockford Christian
surprised a lot of people this week with their performance at the
Peoria Woodruff meet on Saturday.
- Knoxville No information on this team
this week.
- Rochester Rochester ran a phenomenal
race this weekend at the Porta Invitational to win it easily. They
put three runners in the top four and looked dominant.
- Monticello They ran very well to
finish third at the Peoria Woodruff Invitational. If Rockford
Christian had not run such a great race, this team would have
surprised a lot of people. A very impressive race by Monticello
this weekend.
- Sherrard Sherrard was a team that
many people said I should be watching in the next few weeks and they
didnt disappoint with a fourth place finish against a very good
field at the Princeton Invitational. They could make some noise
around the post-season races.
- Elmwood/Brimfield E/B had a very poor
performance over the weekend. Even though they were missing three
of their top seven runners, a deep team like this should have done
much better than eleventh at Woodruff.
- Illini Central They finished second
at the Porta Invitational and have a great front runner in sophomore
Mitchell List.
- Tolono Unity Behind coaching
veterans, Dike Stierett and Gary
Wieneke, this team is running extremely well at the start of the
year and could be a team to watch late in the year. They finished
third at the PBL Invitational.
- Beecher They finished a strong fourth
at the Peoria Woodruff Invitational.
- Henry/Midland They finished fifth at
the Princeton Invitational.
- Cumberland Cumberland beat Robinson
in a triangular meet with Paris on Tuesday. They ran with a great
pack of runners and looked to be in great form early. They run at
the Olney Invitational on Saturday.
2007 Boys Class A Individual Rankings

Rankings
- Matt Feldhake Effingham St. Anthony (Sr.)
He won the Chrisman Cowchip Classic with a time of 16:12.2. He
looks strong and ready to defend his individual state crown.
- Parker Thompson Tremont (Jr.) He
easily won the Peoria Woodruff Invitational against some great
competition. He beat both of Winnebagos top two by almost 15
seconds.
- Trenton Tedrick Winnebago (Sr.) He
finished second at the Peoria Woodruff meet behind Parker Thompson.
He looks to be in great shape already this year.
- Trace Carlson Oregon (Sr.) He
finished 5th against some very good AA competition at the
Princeton Invitational. He continues to run exceptionally well
early in the season.
- Sean Smith Winnebago (Jr.) He
looked good again finishing behind his teammate in the Peoria
Woodruff meet. It will be interesting to watch who will be the
better runner on the team by the end of the year.
- Brian Peterson Fieldcrest (Sr.) He
finished 4th at the Peoria Woodruff meet.
- Justin Rehfedlt Rockford Christian
(Fr.) He surprised a lot of people this weekend by placing 5th
at the Peoria Woodruff Invitational. It is surprising to see a
freshman running so well so early in the year. He will be one to
watch this year at state.
- Graham Morris Lawrenceville (Jr.)
No information on him this week.
- Kody Nelson Delavan (Jr.) He
finished 6th at the Peoria Woodruff meet.
- David Ulrich Robinson He won a
triangular meet against Paris, Robinson, and Cumberland in easy
fashion. He runs at the Olney Invitational on Saturday.
- Jordan Patterson Williamsville
(Sr.) He won the Porta Invitational with a time almost 30
seconds faster than the second place runner. He could be a dark
horse to watch on the way to state.
- Justin Jones Oakwood (r.) He
won the PBL invitational and seems to be running very well early.
- Jeff Camp Delavan (Sr.)
- Buck Hill Ottawa Marquette (Sr.)
- Dustin Emerick Elmwood/Brimfield (Sr.)
He ran a disappointing race at the Peoria Woodruff
Invitational. It could be a long year for Elmwood if Emerick
continues to run this way for the rest of the year.
